Social Responsibility
AFAD Accreditation
To play an active role in disaster and emergency management, the Industrial Zone has taken part in the accreditation processes run by AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency). As part of this, the zone's staff have been trained in disaster preparedness, first response and coordination, and emergency plans have been updated in line with national standards.
Zero Waste Project
Within the Zero Waste Project run by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, waste separation at source, recycling and waste management are actively carried out across the zone. This supports environmental sustainability and minimizes the use of natural resources.
Greening Across the Zone
Landscaping, afforestation and green area work is carried out regularly across the zone to preserve its appearance and ecological balance. This greening work gives employees a healthier and more sustainable working environment.
Waste Collection
Regular and environmentally responsible waste collection services are provided within the zone. Waste collection is planned in line with environmental legislation, and recyclable materials are separated to support sustainable waste management.
Support in Disasters
In possible natural disasters and emergencies, the zone's staff and management provide support in coordination with public institutions. Vehicles, equipment and personnel are kept ready to contribute to rapid response and relief operations when needed.
Tree Planting
Tree planting events are held regularly every year to protect natural resources and leave a more livable environment for future generations. These events raise environmental awareness and continuously expand the zone's share of green areas.
Use of Publicly Licensed Software
In line with the principles of sustainability and efficient use of resources, the zone's IT infrastructure gives priority to open source software licensed under the GPL (GNU General Public License). The greatest advantage of choosing open source solutions is reduced dependence on foreign vendors. The resilience and sustainability of our systems against possible license or support interruptions are strengthened. This approach lowers license costs and aims for long-term technological independence through software that is continuously developed and updated by a large user community.
